FACE TO FACE SUPPORTBristol Rape Crisis face to face support service for women BRC offers the time and space for you to express your feelings about rape or other sexual violence that has happened at any time in your life. BRC is not a counselling service. We offer a safe women only space for you to express these feelings, and whilst we cannot ‘make it all better’ we will listen and believe and never judge you. We feel that survivors have their own answers and hope to empower you to find your own way, in your own time. We hope you will find this helpful as you try to cope with the pain and hurt of sexual violence.
BRC service is delivered by volunteers. All our volunteers are experienced in working with women who have survived different forms of sexual abuse and intimidation, at different times in their lives. They all take part in our 40hour sexual violence training programme which leaves them self aware, knowledgeable, non judgemental and with a great insight in the effects and coping mechanisms of female survivors.
